Monday the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders took a trip to Pierre. Their stops included the Discovery Center and Capitol.

Kimball students have had a busy week! 5th & 6th grade presented their Living Wax Museum featuring "America". FACS 1 competed in "Cake Wars". 7th & 8th graders went to Chamberlain to participate in Sanford Health's Camp Med. And KWL tracksters are breaking records with the latest being the girls 4x800 girls relay!








Today the KWL Boys 4x200 Relay won 1st place at O'Gorman setting a new school record of 1:35.23. Congratulations Lincoln, Carter, Lucas and Lantz!

Shayda Ness 2nd Place Equine Science Placement Proficiency Award
36 Members competed in 12 contests where they took knowledge tests, did problem solving, identified plants, animals, trees, equipment, and cuts of meat, created flower arrangements, identified cheeses and milk, judged carcasses, Dairy Cattle, seeds, and horses, were tasked to do wiring and GPS. So proud of these kids for qualifying for State and competing at State.

We listened to the National FFA Officer, Carter Howell. He reminded us that just because it is something you always wanted, doesn't mean it is something you needed.




Kiote Day for grades K-6 will be Wednesday, May 15. We are needing volunteers to make Kiote Day a success. If you are available to help, please call the school to sign up. Students will go to Houda Athletic Field after morning attendance. At 11:45 they will come back to school for lunch and then be dismissed for the school year at 12:30pm! Thank you!
