Kimball students in grades 3-5 participated in the SD Music Education Association Music Festival at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center on Monday, March 3. This festival was held at 8 different locations throughout the state. Those attending were Addison Gilbertz, Esther Schultz, Violet Konechne, Emma Lenz, Addison Pringle, Presley Goodall, Cooper Wellman, Tori Ehlers, George Assman, Raelynn Rasmussen, Maja DeJong, Vonni Tyrrell, Ingrid Thomas and Tristan Schleder.

Rounds 2 and 3 of the Boys Class B Region 5 Basketball Tournament has been moved to Friday and Saturday.
The KWL Boys will play Friday at Lower Brule at likely 6:00 PM. The Winner will play Saturday at the Corn Palace at likely 6:00 PM. Times will be officially announced when they are set.
There will be no school for the Kimball Schools today, March 4th.
Kimball FFA members attending CDE in Bridgewater/Emery on Monday, March 3rd. Buses leave at 7:45AM...wear FFA hoodie and bring money.

The following school board positions will become vacant due to the expiration of the present terms of office of the following school board members:

Lee Pulse, 3 year term
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on March 1, 2025 and petitions may be filed in the office of the business manager located at Kimball School business office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. central time not later than March 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., or mailed by registered mail not later than March 25, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
