Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are key components to strong CTE programs. CTSOs provide relevant, engaging programs that improve student achievement, reduce dropout rates, engage communities, partner with businesses, and help students discover the wide range of career options available. Now more than ever we need to have students involved in robust Career and Technical Student Organizations, integrated with local CTE programs. $150,000 in CTSO Chapter Revitalization Grants are available through the SD CTSO Center to assist new and existing CTSO chapters in South Dakota and Kimball School’s FCCLA and FFA Chapters have been awarded a portion of that money! We look forward to hearing how they plan to utilize this grant. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Kimball School Oral Interp. Team! The District 9B Oral Interp. contest was held yesterday. All Kimball School Oral Interp. team members advanced to the Region Oral Interp. Contest, which will be held on Monday, November 13th, at the Ramkota Inn , in Pierre, SD.
