The Kimball School District will be using the “Virtual Snow Day” model, when feasible, for the rest of the school year. As a district, we understand there will be a learning curve for parents and for staff. We have put together all the materials in a digital repository for the MS/HS found on our district website (Microsoft Teams) and packets with materials for K-4 students that will be sent home and utilizing Seesaw which teachers have been using as a communication tool with parents. These will be used should we need to utilize the virtual option. Staff will be available as they would be during the school day, to answer e-mails, host virtual meetings and offer help as needed. It is not going to be perfect right away, but it will be better than going to school in the month of June.
We will notify you as to when an e-learning snow day will occur. All snow days may not be e-learning days due to when dismissal occurs.
