Kimball School welcomes Ms. Alyssa Anderson as the new Band Instructor. On Wednesday June 1, 8am-12, she will be hosting a "Welcome to Band" event where students/parents entering 5th grade are encouraged to stop in to check out all the instruments, meet Ms. Anderson and learn about her summer program. ANY student in grades 6-12 are also encouraged to stop in and check it out.


Congratulations to Synch Ness & Rylee McCord for their placings at State Jr High Rodeo this past weekend. Synch placed 5th in Breakaway Roping (just 1 place short of going to Nationals). Synch & Rylee are partners for Ribbon Roping and placed 8th.

Good Luck to the KWL Track Team at Regions today in Platte!

Congratulations to Dawson Eimers, Lydia Hoing, Mikenna Gilbertz, and Kristin King for being selected to the 2022 Elementary Honor Choir. There were 512 auditions submitted and 165 students selected from across the state! They will perform in October in Sioux Falls during the same weekend as All-State Chorus and Orchestra.

Another Kiote Day to remember! Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible. Tomorrow we will be sharing photos taken by some wonderful photographers that captured many great moments that will become special memories for our students and staff. I think we will all sleep well tonight and be ready for our last day tomorrow! Reminder we will dismiss at 1pm Thursday.

Kiote Day is here!! See the attached images for the Schedule, Student Groups & and Station Map. After the group photos are taken in the bleachers around 3pm, ALL students will be bused back to school. They may not leave with you at the track as it will be very difficult to ensure student safety. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!




FCCLA hosted their annual “Feastival” to recognize seniors and induct new officers. President and senior Brook Nolz was thanked for her 2 years as President and for her 6 years as an FCCLA member.
