Kimball FFA had a great trip to the 97th National FFA Convention. 14 members and Mrs. Walsh along with members from Chamberlain, Platte and Montrose got on an early morning charter bus to Indianapolis. We took in Convention sessions in Lucas Oil Stadium (Home of the Colts) and the Expo, shopped in the FFA mall, toured Tuttle Orchards and sampled their apples and cider, toured the Indianapolis 500, went to the swimming pool and hot tub, met Tiktok famous people (Dale Brisby, Cowboy Cartel, Bar 7 Ranch. country singer Caidon Wallace), heard Temple Grandin speak, tried our hand at Top Golf with Chamberlain, raced go carts, bowled, played mini golf, took in Hanna Haunted Acres, Watched the WiLdKats play football on Live Ticket, sang on the bus, stood on the side of the road and got people to honk as they drove by, rode electric scooters, experienced a city with more people than our entire state, experienced lots of traffic, made new friends, learned new things, visited the World's Largest Truckstop, was part of the over 71,000 FFA members that attended and had a great bus driver Tim. We made it back early Sunday morning. What an awesome experience!!
